Happy reading šŸ’‹šŸŒ¼

The Maheshwari house was in chaos. Not the bad kind— the fun, loud, wedding-season kind. Clothes were scattered everywhere, relatives were on video calls discussing outfits, and Samiksha’s mother was yelling at her father for announcing a trip at the last moment.

Sitting on the couch with her feet up, Samiksha scrolled through her phone, completely ignoring the madness around her, until a wedding invitation landed on her lap.

"Pack your bags," her father announced, his voice carrying authority but also excitement. "We are leaving for Udaipur tomorrow. By train."

"Train?" Samiksha almost choked. "Papa, I thought we were flying?"

Her father smirked but said nothing, while her mother, clearly enjoying his little secret, muttered, "Just trust him for once."

Sighing dramatically, Samiksha leaned back. "Fine. But I’m telling you, I'm going to miss Aarohi so much. How will I survive without her?"

—

Meanwhile, at the Rajvansh House…

Aarohi dramatically flopped onto her bed. "I don’t want to go to Udaipur!" she whined. "I’ll miss Samiksha so much. We have so much to gossip about. She’s the only one who gets my rants!"

Abeer, who was leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, watched her amusedly. "You’re acting as if you won’t have a phone."

"You don’t understand!" Aarohi huffed. "It’s not the same! Texting is different. And I can't make her laugh at my lame jokes over a call!"

Abeer chuckled, shaking his head. "You're too dramatic, Aarohi."

"Excuse me! You wouldn’t know the pain of best friend separation," she threw a pillow at him.

Abeer dodged easily, laughing as he walked out.

—

"What do you mean my blouse isn’t ready?!" Avya shrieked, staring at the half-stitched fabric.

"Relax, didi," Vidyut rolled his eyes. "It’s just a blouse. Wear something else."

"Just a blouse?! Do you know how important outfit coordination is at a wedding?" Avya glared at him.

Vidyut smirked. "I don’t, but watching you lose your mind over it is fun."

Samiksha, who was stuffing snacks into her bag, sighed. "Can we all agree that the real struggle is going to be surviving Papa’s early morning wake-up call?"

As if on cue, her father shouted from the living room, "Five a.m. sharp! No one will be late!"

The siblings groaned in unison.
"Par papa train toh 10 baje hai"

The station was crowded, the air thick with excitement and the occasional scent of chai from the vendors. Samiksha stepped onto the platform, dragging her suitcase behind her, feeling slightly disappointed.

She missed Abeer already. How would she survive if she doesn't get a daily dose of his one glimpse. She really doesn't care if he looks at her or not, she will always admire him.

But just as she turned her head, her heart nearly stopped.

Standing a few feet away, looking effortlessly attractive in casual jeans and a t-shirt, was none other than Abeer Rajvansh.

Her breath hitched.

He ran a hand through his already perfect hair, looking around, unaware of the effect he had just caused. Before Samiksha could even process her emotions, she was engulfed in a tight hug.

"OH MY GOD, SAMIKSHA!" Aarohi shrieked excitedly.

"Aarohi?!" Samiksha's eyes widened.

They pulled back, staring at each other in shock, then burst into excited squeals. "You're coming too?"

"Of course! Because the groom is Ekansh bhaiya'sĀ  friend!" Aarohi grinned.

Samiksha blinked. "Wait. What?! Ekansh bhaiya? As inĀ  Ekansh bhaiya frrrr?"

Aarohi smirked. "Surprise!"

Meanwhile, Abeer watched the scene with a small smile, hands in his pockets, his gaze lingering on Samiksha longer than necessary.

She was breathtaking when she was happy.

And now, he was going to spend the entire wedding with her.

Not bad at all.

The train rattled down the tracks, a rhythmic melody filling the air as conversations, laughter, and teasing echoed in their compartment. The Maheshwari cousins had taken over an entire cabin, their excitement buzzing in the air.Ā

Abeer sat across from Samiksha, his arm resting lazily on the table between them, his sharp eyes stealing glances at her when she wasn’t looking. He wasn’t the only one, though— a few of the girls in their group were very obviously ogling him, whispering and giggling among themselves.Ā

But Abeer? He was lost in Samiksha.Ā

Aarohi, ever the mischief-maker, smirked as an idea struck her. "Okay, listen up!" she announced, clapping her hands to get everyone’s attention. "Samiksha and Abeer, we’re playing a game. We’ll give you phrases, and you have to sing a song accordingly. No excuses."Ā

Samiksha frowned. "What? Why us?"Ā

"Because you guys know how to sing and most importantly Mazza ayega isiliye ." Aarohi grinned.Ā

Abeer let out a lazy chuckle. "And if we refuse?"Ā

"You won’t," Aarohi said sweetly, batting her lashes.Ā

The rest of the cousins cheered in agreement, leaving them with no choice.Ā

Vidyut smirked, leaning forward. "First challenge: Sing a song that expresses your feelings for someone."Ā

A hush fell over the group. Samiksha hesitated for a second, her fingers unconsciously gripping the edge of her seat. Then, as if her heart had decided for her, she started singing—

( A/n :- This song is good but these particular lyrics are close to my heart because it f-ing relatable😭)

"Kehti hai dunia mujhe ek tarfa aashiq tera

Chahu tujhe dur se itna toh haq hai mera..aati hai Ghar ko mere

Woh gali ban Gaye

Tum aakhri wajah pehli Khushi ban gaye

Her voice was soft yet full of emotions, her gaze locked onto Abeer’s.Ā

Han hasi ban gaye

Han nami ban gaye

Tum mere aasmaan meri zameen ban gaye

Each word, each note, was heavy with an unspoken confession. She wasn’t just singing— she was exposing the chaos in her heart, laying bare all the emotions she had never dared to say out loud.Ā

Haan hasi ban gaye ............

As she finished, a moment of silence stretched between them before everyone burst into applause.Ā

Abeer, however, was still looking at her— as if he was trying to etch the moment into his memory forever.Ā

Then a girl chimed in mischievously, "Abeer, now it’s your turn! Flirt through a song!"Ā

Abeer leaned back with a smirk, his deep voice coming out smooth as honey.Ā

Sochun tujhe toh hai subah

Sochun tujhe toh shaam hai

Manzilon pe ab toh meri ek hi tera naam hai

Mere sath mein hi jalkeĀ Ā

Koyle se heera banke ....

Khwaabon se aage Chalke hai tujhe batana

His gaze never left Samiksha, his playful smirk softening into something deeper, something more intense.Ā

Tere Vaaste mera Ishq sufiyana mera Ishq sufiyana

Mera Ishq sufiyana
.......

His voice dripped with charm, each word carrying an unspoken promise. The entire cabin filled with teasing hoots and whistles, but neither of them broke eye contact.Ā

Just as the song ended, Aarohi suddenly groaned. "Arey yaar, maza nahi aa raha. Kuch aur karte hain!"Ā

Samiksha whipped her head toward her. "Bhenchod, tune hi bola tha na yeh khelne ke liye?"Ā

The cabin went dead silent.Ā

Samiksha’s eyes widened as she realized what had just come out of her mouth. She gasped, slapped both hands over her mouth, and sunk into her seat in horror.Ā

Abeer blinked.Ā

Then a slow, wolfish grin stretched across his face.Ā

"My girl is wild," he thought, barely holding in his laughter. My little heart is gonna explode.

The group burst into laughter while Samiksha hid her face in her hands, muttering curses at herself.Ā

—

As the train journey stretched on, the golden hues of sunset painted the sky in shades of orange and pink. Samiksha pulled out her phone, adjusting the camera to capture the breathtaking view outside.Ā

Abeer, however, was busy admiring another sight— her.Ā

The way her eyes sparkled in the fading sunlight, the way a few strands of her hair framed her face… she was mesmerizing.Ā

His trance was broken when his phone buzzed with a message from Aarohi.Ā

Aarohi: "Muh toh band kar lo, uncle! I know meri dost zeher dikhti hai, but ese thodi taadna hota hai."Ā

Abeer’s jaw slackened slightly, and before he could stop himself, his face heated up.Ā

Aarohi turned to Samiksha, feigning shock. "Dekh dekh, bhaiya kaise blush kar rahe hain tujhe dekh ke!"Ā

Samiksha turned, her brows furrowed in confusion. "What?"Ā

Abeer shot Aarohi a glare. "Shut up."Ā

Aarohi smirked. "Bas bas, blush karna allowed hai, deny karna nahi."Ā

Samiksha rolled her eyes but still smacked Aarohi on the arm, making her giggle.Ā

Unlike the others, Avya and Ekansh weren’t on the train.Ā

Ekansh had managed to convince their parents that they had an important businessĀ Ā  meeting( important ahem ahem šŸ’€) and would come later by car. But the moment they hit the highway, Avya launched into a lecture.Ā

"Ekansh, what you did was wrong!" she scolded. "You shouldn’t lie to your parents. Ethics, honesty, principles— where are they?"Ā

Ekansh sighed, keeping his eyes on the road. "You talk a lot."Ā

Avya huffed. "I’m stating facts."Ā

Ekansh glanced at her sideways, lips curling into a smirk. "I should shut you up."Ā

"Excuse me?"Ā

He turned back to the road, voice dropping into something lower, rougher. "I should shut you up with my lips."Ā

Avya’s face turned bright red. "You—"Ā

Ekansh chuckled, enjoying her flustered reaction.Ā

After a while, he pulled the car over and reached into the backseat, pulling out a bouquet of her favorite flowers along with a small gift.Ā

"Here," he said casually.Ā

Avya blinked, her heart skipping a beat. Smiling softly, she plucked one flower from the bouquet, a little ritual of theirs, and handed it to him.Ā

"You’re cute," she murmured, poking his dimple.Ā

Ekansh stilled. For a moment, they simply stared at each other. Then, gently, he reached out, tucking a stray strand of her hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering against her skin.Ā

They continued driving, but Avya couldn’t take her eyes off him.Ā

When she noticed him driving with just one hand, she swallowed hard.Ā

"That was hot," she blurted.Ā

Ekansh raised an eyebrow. "What?"Ā

"Pull over."Ā

Confused but amused, he did.Ā

She climbed onto his lap, straddling him, and whispered, "You get to kiss me."Ā

And that was all it took. His lips crashed onto hers, hands gripping her waist as they lost themselves in the moment.Ā

At first it was gentle, but Avya couldn't take it and tilted her head to deepen the kiss and that was all for him to take over the kiss. Now it was passionate more with hunger. As they were savouring the moment. After it felt like an eternity they pulled apart and Ekansh just rested his forehead against hers a faint smile playing on his lips as he whispered his breath faning on her lips
ā€œ you are unbelievable.ā€

ā€œ ohh that I am.ā€
